Gyro Burst is a 3D-rotation puzzle-arcade where you rotate a gyroscope around two axes to align multiple targets. Eighty levels across four tiers plus daily challenges. The format is the rare browser game that handles 3D rotation puzzles smoothly.
What works is the dual-axis input. Horizontal swipe rotates around the vertical axis; vertical swipe rotates around the horizontal. The control mapping is intuitive within a few levels.
Eighty levels with target-count escalating per tier. Tier one has two targets; tier four has six. The complexity grows steadily.
Tested across maybe twelve hours over three weeks. Cardiff Bay weekend cafe sessions plus a few weekday commute rides. Touch swipe is the natural input. Mouse-drag also works on desktop.
Where the design earns its high rating is the daily challenge mode. Fresh gyroscope target every day with a global leaderboard. The competitive layer extends the format well beyond the campaign.
Where I would push back is the absence of a hint mode. Stuck players have no recourse beyond restart. A rotation-suggestion hint would have helped retention.
